ENR 2.2 OTHER REGULATED AIRSPAC
1. General
Where established, detailed descriptions of regulated airspace, including Terminal Control Areas (TMA), Control Zones (CTR), and other specific airspace structures are published in the relevant aerodrome section (AIP AD 2).
2. Airspace Classification
Airspace within the Damascus FIR is classified in accordance with ICAO Annex 11 provisions as follows:
- Class A: Applied to controlled airways and designated upper airspace as specified in ENR 2.1.
- Class D: Applied to Terminal Control Areas (TMA) and Control Zones (CTR) as specified in AD 2.
- Class G: Applied to all other airspace within the FIR where ATS is limited to Flight Information Service (FIS) and Alerting Service (ALRS).
3. Special Use and Temporary Airspace
Military exercise areas, temporary restricted areas, and other regulated airspace reserved for specific activities are activated dynamically by NOTAM. Detailed coordinates and vertical limits for permanent Prohibited (P), Restricted (R), and Danger (D) areas are listed in ENR 5.1.
